Dear Furniture Makers, Fine Woodworkers, and Home Decoration Artists and Artisans,
Craftproducers has located an indoor facility, a mere two miles from Tanglewood in the Berkshires, with 24,000 square feet of open display space. Imagine that! The Berkshires are world famous and brimming with an influx of summer folks there for the culture: Tanglewood, numerous summer theater productions, hip restaurants, and the Berkshire lifestyle. The combination of tourists, second home owners, and local residents represent a highly sophisticated and affluent customer base.
If you are not already salivating about the opportunity to present your work in this market, we suggest that you do a little research. For those familiar with the potential of this show, get your application in now. Applications for the first jury round are due in the Craftproducers office by February 26, 2010. Notification will be March 10, 2010. If there are any openings after the first jurying, they will be considered on a first come first serve basis.
Craftproducers is held in high esteem for vigorous spending on ads and focused public relations campaigns. For this show, the entire Berkshire region is the prime target. The show will also be advertised regionally, including in the nearby Albany metro area. We will work closely with the Berkshire Woodworkers Guild; their local knowledge will be an invaluable asset to the success of the show. There will be a Silent Auction during the actual event to benefit their organization.

How to Apply / Eligibility
You may dowload the application form from the link on the upper right of this page. If you have Adobe Reader, you can fill the application out electronically and submit it using the "Submit Now" button. You may also email the application back, or print and mail it. To complete your application we need digital images or slides of your work. Please email the images to info@craftproducers.com or include a CD or slides with your mailed application. We require three images. We are only interested in high quality original work. While we are not asking you for a booth shot, you must have a booth with a backdrop and side walls and a floor covering.
Please be aware that jewelry and clothing are not eligible categories. This is a show that features handcrafted objects for the home and garden.
We require a $10 application fee which must be a separate check. You must include a deposit of $150. This $150 will only be deposited when you are accepted to the show. If you are not accepted, your check will be returned to you. Credit cards are also accepted. Once you are accepted to the show, there will be no refund of your original $150 deposit.
Booth Fees
10x10 $600 includes 500 watts of power, 15x10 $800 with 750 watts, and 20x10 $1,000 with 1,000 watts. A corner is $100 extra. 500 watts additional power is $50 extra.
Standards
We seek original work that is well designed and fabricated. No sales representatives: we want you intimately involved in displaying and selling your work at our fairs. (A bona fide employee knowledgeable about your production is acceptable.) No kits or imports are allowed. No buy/sell items are allowed. If we discover any buy/sell work at an event, we will remove the exhibitor from the show.
Notification and Cancellation Policies
We will send out acceptance information along with your invoice on March 10, 2010. If you cancel a show after this date, you will forfeit your $150 deposit. If Craftproducers is forced to cancel a show due to Acts of God, Mother Nature, Governmental Order, War, Civil Unrest, Terrorism, or any other cause beyone our control, there will be no refund of booth fees. If we cancel a show by our own choice, you will receive a full refund.
Berkshire Woodworkers Guild
Craftproducers is pleased to be affiliated with the Guild and its members. They are enthused about helping to create a successful market for upscale furniture and fine woodwork not only for themselves but for all the exhibitors. We will utilize their local contacts to entice Berkshire architects, designers, and their existing patrons to attend the show.
