41st Annual Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival

Enjoy a wonderful weekend in Bennington at the Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival!

Juried fine art and craft Exhibitors line outdoor paths and fill soaring white tents with expertly handcrafted creations. With nearly 200 Exhibitors, there is work in a wide variety of style and medium! Specialty foods and artisan spirits are in a separate section. Relax with wine, beer, and great food while listening to live music in the dining tent. Additional roaming entertainers delight children and adults alike!

For the seventh year, the Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival is the jewel in the crown of the ever-expanding Bennington Arts Weekend. Experience a lively, arts-filled weekend in Vermont’s first town. There is so much to do, including shopping at the Arts Festival, galleries, exhibits, and delightful restaurants throughout picturesque, historic Bennington.

    The Bennington Holistic Healing Practitioners are organizing a special Healing Day event at the Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival from 10am-4pm on Saturday, August 4. Visit the Bennington Holistic Healing Practitioners booth where they will be offering Reiki, acupuncture, massage, mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, and more! This will be an extraordinary day of recognizing the importance of health and wellness and experiencing the relaxing effects of holistic medicine.

    Friday, August 3: Leah Woods

    With a smokey tone and soulful voice Leah Woods‘ beach R&B writing compositions are compelling and raw inspired by her constant search for adventure and strive to create positive change.

    Leah released her first exclusive single October 23rd, 2017 to raise  awareness and funds for the water crisis happening in the world and take action through a compilation album called Melodies 4 Water All the funds raised goes to build water filtration Systems in Chiapas, Mexico.

    Bucky O’Hare is a Boston based Bluesman who lives musically in that special intersection of Blues and Funk. Equal parts Crusaders, Meters, Albert Collins and Buddy Guy, Bucky and his band bring an eclectic mix of Blues, Funk, Jazz and Rock. Specializing in slide and focused on pure guitar tone, Bucky plays and sings his original blues all over New England supported by an inventive and dynamic group of musicians: Matt Mahoney on bass and vocals, Kevin Miller on drum set, and Providence, RI based Antonio Forte on keyboards.

  • Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival in Bennington VTVendors will be on the Festival grounds selling a varied menu of delicious farm fresh Festival Fare, including ice cream, and more! Enjoy a craft beer from one of Vermont’s famous breweries.

  • Bring the kids along to the Southern Vermont Art and Craft Festival! Besides experiencing incredible art and meeting the creators of traditional and innovative craftwork, there are special activities and entertainment especially for the younger crowd.


  • This is an outdoor Festival, with some paved paths. Tents are set up on grass, so expect some uneven footing.
