CRAFTPRODUCERS ANNOUNCES ARTIST SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
DECEMBER 28, 2007 (CHARLOTTE, VT)
Craftproducers, Vermont’s largest producer of juried Art and Craft Festivals is pleased to announce an ARTIST SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
This program allows new artists an opportunity to participate in Craftproducers high quality professionally managed shows free of charge. The scholarship program covers the costs associated with a participating in a show. In addition, Craftproducers will work with the artists to create a booth layout, determine pricing, sales techniques and other skill needed to succeed in the Art & Craft Industry. The scholarship program covers the costs associated with a show.
Craftproducers started this program in 2005 and expanded it to all its Vermont shows in 2007. For 2008 the program is being expanded again to the Flemington Arts and Crafts Festivals at the Hunterdon County Fairgrounds. These successful shows, now over 25 years old were recently purchased by Craftproducers from United Craft Enterprises. The dates for the 2008 shows are April 19 & 20 and September 13 & 14.
“This program is great opportunity for new artists to learn how to make a living with their art; I know anyone who is accepted will learn a lot,” says Amanda Wright of Craftproducers.
