Craftproducers has a proven history of supporting our Exhibitors on many levels. Our management is completely hands on and is genuinely interested in the work of the Artists and Handcrafters at the shows. We have worked hard to ensure successful and enjoyable shows for over 35 years.
Below are some of the great benefits of being a Craftproducers Exhibitor:
BEFORE THE SHOW
Simple and Accessible Application – we know you are busy and that’s why we have streamlined our application process. Use our simple online forms to submit your Festival application or download a PDF copy to print and mail. If you do not have photos on file with us, or if you choose to send updated work (always appreciated), just email the images.
Stellar Promotion – we don’t pinch pennies on advertising. Our full color postcards, rack cards, and posters are widely distributed, we run ads on radio and television and in the print and online versions of local and surrounding area newspapers. We have billboards when possible (Vermont doesn’t allow billboards), and where possible our full Festival program is distributed as an insert in the local newspaper in the week running up to the Festival. Our website is updated frequently and includes a list of all participating Exhibitors with links and images. We use social media, including paid promotional posts.
Exhibitor Cross-Promotion – We are on your marketing team! We are always happy to support our Exhibitors with features on our website in the front slideshow and as a full post in the News section, and with sharing social media posts. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have a press release, exciting new product, have recently won an award, had an article or feature published, or anything else you think newsworthy… We always welcome action shots of you at work in your studio, reports of satisfied customers, tales of your beginnings in the Art and Craft industry, anecdotes from Festivals past…
Friendly and Helpful Management – over 35 years experience in the field has given us some expertise in booth design and setup, publicity and marketing strategies, local accommodation options, tax requirements, and more. Shoot us an email or give us a call during normal business hours.
Online Resources – check our Exhibitor Resources section for tips on photography, booth setup, sales and marketing techniques, and more. Feel free to forward any information you find useful, we will post it for others!
AT THE FESTIVALS
Easy Check-in and Setup – You want to get to your spot and unpack; we want you to get there as quickly and easily as possible. We are continually improving our check-in and set up systems for maximum efficiency. At most of our shows, weather permitting, you will be able to drive right to the tent sides. Our tents are laid out with wide aisles and plenty of cross aisles allowing for very easy transport to your booth location.
Convenient Exhibitor Parking – You will be given a parking pass at check in which will allow you to park in convenient designated Exhibitor parking areas.
Camping – camping is allowed at most Craftproducers shows. Hook ups are available at some shows.
Ample Electricity – You will be provided with 450 watts of electricity per 10 ft of booth space in the tents (450watts for a 10×10 booth, 875 watts for a 15×10 booth, 900 watts for a 20×10 booth). Electrical outlets are easily accessible and our electrician is on-site throughout the festival in case of problems. If you need additional power or if you want power to an outdoor booth, you can purchase an upgrade prior to the show.
Comprehensive Festival Programs – We design and print full programs for each show with listings for each participating Exhibitor, including a short description, booth number, and website address. For some Festivals we partner with a local newspaper, printing a full color program with additional articles, images, and maps which is inserted and distributed with the paper in the week prior to the show.
Live Festival Promotion – We post social media updates throughout the festivals, and often welcome members of the press.
Exhibitor Breakfast – A bagel-and-coffee breakfast will be provided on Friday morning at most of our Festivals.
Exhibitor Party – When possible, we all enjoy the Saturday evening Exhibitor party in the Dining Tent. With drinks -including wine and beer on tap – and a variety of snacks, this is an opportunity for you to relax and meet your weekend neighbors or catch up with friends from the circuit. Sometimes we have a talent show…
Luxury Bathrooms – full bathroom trailers are on-site during Festival hours, featuring flush toilets and running water.
Overnight Security – We have professional on-site security overnight at all Craftproducers Festivals.
AFTER THE SHOW
Online Listings – your Exhibitor listing, including an image of your work and a link to your website, stays up through the end of the year.
Post-show Social Media Roundups – we post Festival highlights on social media after the show to keep the conversations going.
Customer Referrals – we are often the first contact for customers who saw your work at a Festival and want to be in touch at a later date. Sometimes its years later, sometimes they only have a vague description of your work: we will put on our detective hats and find the answer, and we will provide them with your contact information on file – usually a website or email address.
Exhibitor Feedback – We welcome your thoughts and ideas for the shows! Be in touch.
